The Artist series may be a budget line, but all of Audio Technica’s microphones benefited from the research the company carried out while developing its Artist Elite series. In fact, the ATM710 is closely related to the £300 AE5400, particularly given the inclusion of the anti-shock engineering developed for the latter to ensure minimal handling noise.
