Mackie Control Universal Pro

Why be a slave to your mouse when the Mackie Control Universal Pro provides all the hands-on fader access you need? Mark Cousins takes control...

Price: £999.00
Manufacturer: Mackie
Website: http://www.mackie.com

Dedicated control surfaces have become an integral part of the modern studio, from entry-level solutions such as Behringer’s BCF2000 right up to fully integrated control consoles from the likes of Digidesign and Euphonix. Striking one of the best balances between cost and performance, though, has been Mackie’s Control Universal, which provides almost seamless integration with a range of DAWs alongside those all-important Penny+Giles touch-sensitive faders. These factors have contributed to the Control Universal becoming one of the most widely used control surfaces in the world.

Score: 9
