Joe Meek was an eccentric genius whose pioneering approach to music production in his home studio on London’s Holloway Road helped to define the sound of British pop music. Ted Fletcher worked as Joe’s assistant for two years before moving on to run the commercial studio for Keith Prowse Music, where he began making his own equipment.
