Most of us are used to having just a single computer on which to record and make music. And it’s not only the obvious financial outlay that denies recordists the luxury of a second machine: most of the software you use every day will be permanently installed on and authorised for your original computer. So, having a complete operating system and advanced audio and MIDI sequencing and recording tools on a single disc that can be booted on any modest host PC could certainly change the way you approach music-making.
