For many, a particular style is all they need to embellish a song or soundtrack and fulfilling this requirement is the increasingly popular ‘ROM-Pler’. As its name suggests, this is a combination of DVD/CD-ROM and software sampler. The Pro Samples Platinum series is a collection of romplers featuring a range of musical genres from different sample-CD authors. What they all have in common is that Native Instruments (NI) sampler software is used to power the sampler front end.
